AXIAL FAN SILENCERS
Controllable blade angle axial flow fans are now being used extensively for forced draft, primary air and induced draft fans in power generating plants. The noise generated by axial flow fans has a different frequency Vs noise level distribution than do centrifugal fans. Also axial fans take all of their flow in though a single inlet while centrifugal fans usually split the flow into two inlets. Hence an axial fan requires one much larger inlet silencer than the two inlet silencers used on centrifugal fans. Aeroacoustic has designed a series of silencers specifically to match the acoustic characteristics of axial fans.
The Aeroacoustic "Silentflow" vanaxial fan silencers are acoustically and aerodynamically correct for reducing the noise emanating from the inlet and/or discharge of vaneaxial fans. These silencers are exactly tuned for the very specific noise characteristics of the vaneaxial fans. Over two years of Research and Development have gone into our proprietary fluid flow diffuser design. This new fluid diffuser design assures minimum flow resistance and maximum static pressure system regain.
